Beckett Woods is a preliminarily approved 288-unit multi-family garden apartment community with two commercial pads containing a 9,600 SF retail building and a 2,450 SF drive-thru restaurant. The township preliminary land development plan approvals were granted in August 2019. Land for the project is made up of 8 parcels totaling 114 acres. The commercial portion of the project is 3.5 +/- acres. The residential portion is approved for 16 buildings containing 18 units each. A developer will need to complete a traffic impact study and familiarize itself with the potential benefits of the Legacy Sediment program. Grant funds for a traffic light may be available in cooperation with York Township. A complete copy of the preliminary land develop plan is available for review. List Price is $5,000,000 with preliminary approvals.

Location Description:

Beckett Woods is located in York Township, York County. The property has frontage on I-83 and Springwood Road. The development will have developer installed, signalized access off Springwood Road. The site is an approximate five-minute drive time to I-83. I-83 offers easy access to Harrisburg (30 minute drive) and Baltimore (56 minute drive), as well as Route 30 access to Lancaster (45 minute drive) and Hanover (45 minute drive) /Gettysburg (60 minute drive).

Giant, Weis, CVS, Wal-Greens are in close proximity to Beckett Woods. The property is in Dallastown School District. In addition, York Suburban School District and York Vocational School of Technology are nearby. Major employers include York Traditions Bank, Wellspan, Manor Care, JMT, and OSS.
